Skálar á Langanesi- a Village once upon a Time
The village Skálum á Langanesi in the Northeast are remains of relics of life that once was. This was a flourishing village where residents basing their livelihood on fishing industry. Changed conditions in the fishing industry and transport, mines and various other explosions  led to sixth decade of last century, ending the settlement there.
Into the history of the village intertwined effects benefits residence, the second World War, changes in transport, the fate of individual families and much more.
